It's a big day for two American car companies.
Chrysler is in bankruptcy court Friday. A judge will soon decide whether Chrysler should sell most of its holdings to Italian automaker Fiat.
Meanwhile, General Motor's bondholders have agreed to a new deal. But analysts say it won't keep the company out of bankruptcy.
The deal would wipe out $27 billion that GM owes its bondholders and give them stock in exchange.
