The nation is grieving with families of the fallen after Thursday's military massacre at Fort Hood -- and many have two questions: "Why?" and "How?"
A moment of silence was held Friday afternoon exactly 24 hours after the shooting rampage started.
Military installations across the U.S. and around the world participated. President Barack Obama has also ordered flags on federal buildings lowered to half staff until Veterans Day in honor of the victims.

Hasan's alleged actions have sparked questions and even concern of motive.
CBN News Anchor/Reporter Lee Webb offered his heartfelt comments about the Fort Hood shooting and the courageous troops it impacted.
