George, a Great Dane from Tucson, Ariz. is aiming for the prize of the world's tallest dog and an entry into the Guinness Book of Records.
          
George stands at 42 inches tall and weighs 245 pounds.
    
He wolfs down more than 100 pounds of food each month and towers over humans when he stand on his hind legs.     
    
George's owner has launched a public relations drive that he hopes will lead to top dog honors.
