A community in Salisbury, Mass., has united to help a family save their home.
Bill and Tabitha Ralston faced foreclosure after the bank told them they would be evicted at the end of the month if they did not pay $13,000 dollars.
So in a last-ditch effort, the couple decided to have a "Save our Home" yard sale.
Neighbors heard about their need and stepped up donating yard sale items and even money.
"I thought, what a horrifying thing!" said Sandi Spenney, a neighbor grandmother. "This girl has worked all her life, ever since she was 14 years old. Her husband works hard. She got a child in college. She has four great kids."
Not only did the Ralstons raise the amount they owed to the bank, but they made enough to pay for the next month's mortgage.
