Rifqa Bary is back in Ohio after spending three months in Florida.
The move on Tuesday officially ended Florida's emergency jurisdiction in Bary's case.
The 17-year-old is now the responsibility of Franklin County Children Services, which is expected to place her in a foster home while the legal battle plays out.
Bary left Ohio last summer when she reached out to strangers she met through a prayer group on the social-networking site Facebook.
Now that she has returned, an Ohio judge has ordered her telephone and Internet use be supervised.
Bary ran away from her parents' Columbus-area home in July in fear of being killed by her parents for converting from Islam to Christianity.
A Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation found no credible threats to the girl.
