Christian music fans all over the world will have a rare opportunity to see some of the biggest names in the industry perform, during a live Web-streamed concert event Labor Day weekend.
Christian artists such as Newsboys, Kutless, Superchick, and Sanctus Real will perform at an annual outdoor Christian music event in Sioux Falls, S.D., called The LifeLight Music Festival.
But for the first time, the annual festival will feature Web streaming, through Endavo Media an Atlanta-based online video and Internet company.
"We are looking for new ways to expand the ministry and bring this awesome music into more homes around the country," Festival Director Julie Klinger said. "Using Endavo Media's Internet TV Platform to deliver live streaming of the concert is an exciting way to expand our message and let more people experience LifeLight."
The online concert will also include speakers Will Graham, grandson of evangelist Billy Graham, and Andrew Palau, son of evangelist Luis Palau.
"It's great to see festivals like LifeLight use our online video platform as a way to connect with and grow their audience, while also generating revenue to support their organization," Peter Contardo, chief marketing officer of Endavo Media, said.
The event is free for concert attendees in Sioux Falls. Online viewers can sign up to watch at the LifeLight Music Festival Web site for $19.95. A portion of the proceeds will go to support LifeLight's music and missions ministry.
The concert begins Friday Sept. 4 at 12 p.m. CST and will continue through Sunday, Sept. 6. For a full schedule, click here.
