A hearing scheduled in a Florida courtroom on Thursday could decide the fate of 17-year-old Rifqa Bary.
She is the Muslim girl, who converted to Christianity and fled her Columbus, Ohio home, because she was afraid she would be killed to uphold her family's Muslim honor.
Bary's father has denied threatening his daughter's life.
Officials say the Ohio mosque her family attends also has ties to terrorism.
Bary escaped to the Orlando, Florida home of Rev. Blake Lorenz and his wife, who lead the Global Revolution Church.
A judge placed her in protective custody while the court investigated her claims.
