More than 1,000 people attended the funeral service of Carol Daniels in Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Daniels, 61, served as the pastor at the Christ Holy Sanctified Church in Anadarko, where police found her body on August 23. She had suffered multiple gashes to the neck and chest.
At her funeral, friends remembered her as a loving woman, committed to the Word and her ministry.
"Always supportive, always loved people, always willing you know to jump in and tackle, you know a task," said Artisha Woody, a friend of Daniels. "Always wanting to help a person that was just her vision. Her mission always wanted to help someone along the way."
No arrests have been made yet. The state of Oklahoma is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
