A Chicago judge has ruled that a father can take his 3-year-old daughter to church despite his estranged-wife's objections.
Joseph Reyes is Catholic and his wife, Rebecca, is Jewish. The two are seeking a divorce.
The mother sued for an injunction after Reyes sent pictures of his daughter's baptism at a local Catholic church.
In February, a family court ruled that Reyes couldn't expose his daughter to any faith apart from Judaism. But this week, a judge said exposure to church is not harmful and the father can take her if he chooses.
Reyes could still face trial for allegedly defying the original injunction.
