Former First Lady Laura Bush reveals personal stories in her new book, Spoken from the Heart, set to release May 4.

In the book, Mrs. Bush describes a car crash she caused when she was 17.

She ran a stop sign and collided into another car, killing one of her friends. Bush said she was filled with guilt and the crash caused her to loose her faith for many years.

The former first lady also suggested she and President Bush may have been poisoned in Germany during the G-8 summit.

Bush also called out Democratic leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid for attacking her husband. She said comments that her husband was "an incompetent leader" and a "loser" were "uncalled for."
