On Easter Sunday, many churchgoers will sport new dresses, suits and hats. But thousands of pastors from across the country will be preaching shoeless Sunday.
It is a part of something called Barefoot Sunday, a campaign sponsored by a North Carolina ministry called Samaritan's Feet. The group's aim is to raise awareness about global poverty and provide shoes for millions of people who do not have them.
CBN News spoke with Manny Ohonme, president and founder of Samaritan's Feet, for more on Barefoot Sunday.
