The Billy Graham Library located outside of Charlotte, N.C. officially re-opens to the public Wednesday after months of renovations.
The 91-year-old evangelist made a rare appearance at a special celebration Tuesday night. His library has been closed since January to make room for a 15 foot x 31 foot mural by Thomas Kinkade called "The Cross."
Those who attended Tuesday's celebration say it was like a family reunion.
"We're real excited about how my grandaddy is doing physically," Will Graham said. "Granddad has been in great physical health in the last couple of months. We're real grateful for that."
Graham's family says the evangelist has expressed a desire to preach one more sermon. Graham's grandson Will said if his grandfather gets that wish, it may not be in his trademark stadium crusade, but by television instead, which would be a little easier on him.
