More than 50,000 people celebrated Easter with well-known Pastor Rick Warren in Anaheim, Calif., over the weekend.
Saddleback Church services were held Saturday and Sunday at Angels Stadium for the special holiday.
Warren preached a message of hope, telling attendees that it's never too late to start over or for a miracle.
"Life is like baseball," he said. "We all get a few errors, we get some hits and definitely a lot of strikeouts."
The services also marked the 30th anniversary of Saddleback Church. Warren held his first public service for the church inside a high school gymnasium on Easter morning 1980.
"Now we're going to go intergalactic," Warren joked. "We start our mission to Mars and to Venus next February."
Teenage girls at the event also got a special treat -- a performance from The Jonas Brothers.
All three members of the pop group are Christian and openly pledged not to have sex until they are married.
Saddleback Church now has more than 200 ministries and 20,000 members.
