Christian singer and songwriter Dave Barnes released a new album this week, called What We Want, What We Get.

The Mississippi native's new release focuses on the constant struggle and sacrifices inherent in all romantic relationships, The Tennessean reports.

The title "really sums up the whole record. I thought it was good to kind of warn people, like, 'Hey, this is what it all hinges on,'" Barnes said.
