Nearly 10,000 people showed up for a Tea Party rally in Boston Wednesday, the site of the original tea party in 1773.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin headlined the event, Wednesday, a protest of out of control spending, high taxes, and big government.
"It is time to remind them that government should be working for us. We should not have to work for the government. This is about the people. This is a people's movement," Palin told the crowd. "So the people in Boston and all across the U.S., we're sending a message to Washington,"
The Tea Party Express Tour now heads to Washington, D.C., for a major rally on tax day.
Several in the media have been charged with not giving the Tea Party movement fair coverage and, at times, even painting it as violent and racist.
