After a decade, the USA Women's Gymnastics team is finally receiving the Olympic bronze.
The third place medals were originally awarded to China at the Sydney games 2000, but officials later learned that the Chinese team used underage girls to compete.
Team USA said it's better late than never.
"Just having a bronze medal around my neck from the Olympics was my ultimate goal, and definitely a dream come true," bronze medalist Jamie Dantzscher said.
"It was a nice surprise," fellow winning teammate Amy Chow said.
"I was really excited, I kind of didn't believe it at first," Olympic gymnast Kristen Maloney said.
"I've realized to get over things in life, that if you feel like you're slighted, and you know, you move on," teammate Dominique Dawes said.
As they were receiving their medals, the team said they tried to imagine they were on the podium in Sydney, even though the ceremony was really in Connecticut at the U.S. gymnastics championships.
