Two men in East Texas have said they were responsible for a series of church fires earlier this year.
Jason Robert Bourque, 20, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to five counts of arson and three counts of attempted arson. His accomplice, 22-year-old Daniel George McAllister also entered a guilty plea to two counts of arson and two counts of attempted arson.
The pair were arrested in February after fires destroyed or damaged 10 churches.
No one was hurt in the blazes.
Prosecutors have asked for sentences of life in prison for both men. A judge in Tyler, Texas, is scheduled to sentence the two next month.
