California Mudslides Force Hundreds of Evacuations

While the East coast is dealing with snow, the threat of mudslides is forcing hundreds to evacuate in southern California.

Storms Tuesday forced 500 foothill residents to evacuate for the second time this week.

Heavy rain, hail, and snow pounded the mountains still scarred by wildfires, creating a potential for mudslides.

It's an area that's still cleaning up from weekend muslides that damaged nearly 50 homes.

There is a sign of hope. The National Weather Service says the area will be mostly sunny for the next week.
