A battle over church bells has a Phoenix, Ariz. pastor back in court.
Bishop Rick Painter of Christ the King Cathedral is on probation for violating the city's noise ordinance.
Neighbors complained the bells were too loud and rang 13 times a day, seven days a week.
Painter says the city's noise ordinance is unconstitutional. He wants his name cleared and to be allowed to play the church bells again.
"We ring the bells to glorify God," he said. "When people hear the bells, it brings a peaceful invitation that we're here as a church-- that there's a place of solace, a place of rest, a place of prayer."
Two other Phoenix churches are joining Christ the King Cathedral to challenge the city's noise ordinance in federal court.
