As with many African Americans throughout history, faith played a key role in life of the famous inventor George Washington Carver.

Carver was often heard to say, "The Lord has guided me," and "Without my Savior, I am nothing."

His accomplishments are featured in a new documentary called George Washington Carver: An Uncommon Way.

Ken Carpenter, the film's director, appeared on the CBN Newschannel's Midday program to talk more about the documentary and its inspirational message. Click play for that interview.
