Nearly a month after a powerful earthquake hit Haiti, survivors are still receiving an outpouring of love and support.
Students at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington showed their support Saturday by collecting shoes for Haiti's quake victims.
The organizers of the "Soles4Souls" drive at the UNCW have a special connection to the island nation. Alain and Jeanelle, students at the university, call the quake torn country home.
"Soles4Souls" is a charity organization that sends shoes to those dealing with disasters.
Hundreds of shoes will now be packed up and shipped off to Haiti courtesy of Alain and Jeanelle and the people of Wilmington, N.C.
