Evangelist Benny Hinn has been silent since last week's revelation that his marriage of more than 30 years is ending.

In a written statement, Benny Hinn Ministries said the pastor was "shocked and saddened" by his wife Suzanne's decision to file for divorce and he "has faithfully endeavored to bring healing to their relationship."

However, J. Lee Grady of Charisma Magazine feels Hinn needs to be more open during this time. 

"Because Benny has a had a public ministry and has depended on public funding for his ministry, I think he owes the Body of Christ an explanation," Grady said.
