It's nothing like the winter storm that slammed the Northeast, but it has been a snowy day across the South.
The southern winter blast started in Texas and now stretches through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and into Georgia. Dallas could see up to seven inches of snow by Friday, making it the snowiest February there since 1978.
On the East Coast, clean up is still an issue for the 50 million people affected by the latest snow storm. The Federal Government was closed again on Thursday, for a fourth day in a row. Schools also remain closed as driving conditions are dangerous.
Another 2,000 flights were cancelled today, making traveling plans a nightmare for many. Some stranded travelers aren't expected to get flights out until next week
