A new survey finds most Americans plan to be thrifty this Valentine's Day, according to a Zogby Interactive survey.
Two-thirds say they will spend less than $50 this year on their loved ones.
One quarter of Americans say they plan to spend nothing.
Only seven percent are eyeing gifts worth more than a hundred dollars.
The survey also finds men are more likely than women to shell out more than $50 for Valentine's Day gifts.
The findings also say that email is the most common means of sending a Valentine's greeting. Regular mail, social networking and text messaging follow closely.
