Focus on the Family is crediting their pro-life Super Bowl commercial featuring Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow and his mom for a huge upsurge in traffic to their Web site.
A spokesperson told CBN News that after the ad made headlines in mid-January, traffic to ministries Web site jumped 41 percent.
Then in the hour during the pregame when the 30-second spot aired twice, Web traffic increased 20 times the normal volume.
In the hour during the actual Super Bowl game when the ad aired once, the organization's Web traffic jumped to 40 times its normal volume.
"Our CIO had to issue an all-staff email asking people to ease up on Web use because of the increased traffic on our servers!" the spokesperson exclaimed. "Pretty cool."
