Federal and state law enforcement authorities are investigating five church fires in Texas.

Arson is suspected in each case.

In Athens, Texas, fire devastated the Lake Athens Baptist Church and Grace Community Church on Monday night.

Last week, fire decimated the Faith Church in Athens.

Also this month, fire destroyed the Little Hope Baptist in Canton and a church in Martin's Mill, both near Athens.

Athens is located about 74 miles southeast of Dallas.
