A elderly couple in Louisburg, Kan. has just celebrated 81 years of marriage.
Vern and Verbal Isenhower met over 90 years ago on adjoining farms in Arkansas. They were only 16 and 17-years-old but, for them, it was love at first sight.
The couple married on January 26, 1929.
"We just have the same thoughts, the same way we were brought up," Verbal said. "My mother always said when you get married, you stay married, and she meant that."
Now, more than eight decades later, the couple says they still have fun traveling and enjoying time with family.
Today, the Isenhower family has a combined total of 35 children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and now great-great grandchildren.
