Evangelist Benny Hinn has posted a plea on his web site asking for $2 million in donations.

The Texas-based minister said his ministry has accumulated a deficit in the last few months because there hasn't been the usual amount of offerings at his international speaking engagements.

Hinn cited the shortfall as the reason the ministry hasn't been able to meet their budget expenses.

Benny Hinn Ministries also operates a church and a television studio in Southern California.
