A workplace shooting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has left five people dead and four others wounded.
Police say a former employee opened fire at Emcore Corp., a local fiber optics manufacturer, around 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
Gunshots sent employees running into the streets, and police had to lock down the entire neighborhood as a precaution.
The 37-year-old gunman ultimately took his own life.
Police believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic violence dispute involving the gunman's ex-wife.
"In a situation like this, there are other people in the building, and they became, unfortunately, casualties as well," Police Chief Ray Schultz said.
Police have not yet released the gunman's name.
