A Florida artist has found some inspiration in the Gulf oil spill.
Tom Saunders takes photographs of a single drop of oil. Then, in what is a mix of art and science, he creates what he calls "disaster art."
The actual finished artwork is only about the size of the point of a pin.
Saunders uses a microscope to find the exact image he wants, and then he prints the picture onto t-shirts. He sells his shirts in hopes that maybe his art can be part of some kind of a solution.
All of the proceeds will go to help the disaster relief in the Gulf.
