CBS and NBC have refused to air an ad opposing the mosque set to be built near Ground Zero in New York City.
The commercial calls on all Americans to oppose the Cordoba Mosque. It includes images from the 9/11 attacks and Muslims celebrating in the streets. The National Republican Trust Political Action Committee is behind the spot.

Scott Wheeler, executive director of Committee, told CBN News the commercial is timely, newsworthy and should be played on national TV.
"Why in the world would they oppose this? We have so many things on TV that makes people uncomfortable these days, and yet this is one that they just couldn't tolerate," Wheeler said. "I felt our free speech right had been aggregated, and as I point out to them, I don't recall ever reading that you've turned down a MoveOn.org ad."
Network executives said they refused to broadcast the ad because it was unacceptable under company guidelines for what will and will not be approved for air.
