Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang returned to theaters Friday in the third installment of the Disney-Pixar film franchise Toy Story.
According to Focus on the Family's Plugged-In Online, the computer-animated Toy Story 3 is simply a more expanded version of the first two films complete with a "bigger cast, bigger laughs, bigger booms."
"It's amazing really, that a CGI-created pull-string cowboy can come to embody loyalty, bravery and love," Plugged-In reviewer Bob Hoose wrote.
Also in theaters this weekend is Jonah Hex, a cinematic adaptation of the DC comic series about a post-Civil War era vigilante looking to avenge his murdered family.
Plugged-In Director Bob Waliszewski appeared on the Friday, June 18, CBN News' Midday program to review both films and to also preview new movies coming out later this summer. Click play for his comments.
