Dr. Pat Robertson, the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network, turned 80-years-old Monday.
CBN staff members honored Dr. Robertson by recreating the old set from "The 700 Club" and with many familiar faces from years past.
More than 50 years ago, in response to a mandate from God, Dr. Robertson purchased his first television station. Today, CBN broadcasts the Gospel to 227 nations and in 67 different languages around the world.
However, even after years of serving in ministry, the 80-year-old has showed no signs of slowing down.
As a birthday wish and a tribute to God, CBN's founder expressed the desire to construct a new chapel.
"This will enable us to send thousands of servants of the Lord to serve Him in this country and in Africa, South America, Asia and all over the world - a school for God's glory," he said.
Dr. Robertson jubilantly told guests that after 80 years he is "just warming up."
Your special gift will help in building this Chapel for the glory of God, the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ, and the advancement of His kingdom. To be a part of this historic new endeavor click here.
