Both the Irish and the "Irish at heart" are celebrating Saint Patrick's Day. Wednesday. And Celtic music is a big part of those celebrations.

The strains are an old, familiar sound that can be heard in the songs of Irish modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty.

The young couple, born and raised in Northern Ireland, offer a fresh take on an old music style in an effort break generational barriers.

"It's not a matter of singing 'Here I Am to Worship' immediately before the sermon and "Just As I Am" immediately after," Keith told the Leadership Journal.

"And it's not running an election-trying to appeal to the youth vote and the middle vote and the senior vote," Kristyn added. "We're preaching the Gospel, which is for all generations, all tribes."

The recording artists recently spoke to CBN News about their music. Click play to watch the interview.
