Operation Blessing International is helping to keep people off the streets by providing food and relief supplies to local ministries in cities around the world.

Operation Blessing has four distribution centers in the U.S., including one in California, one in Florida, and two in Virginia.

This week more than 30 ministry partners came to the warehouse in Chesapeake, Va. The organization distributed nearly 70,000 pounds of food and other relief items.

One person said the need is great because many people cannot afford food as well as housing and utilities. And if Operation Blessing was not giving them the food, people would lose their homes.
