The Christian band, Sanctus Real, recently released their fifth album entitled "Pieces of a Real Heart."
The Dove-Award winning group has had seven number one hits and one 2009 Grammy Award nomination, according to Everyday Christian.
One of the songs on the new CD, "Lead Me," was penned by lead vocalist Matt Hammitt. It focuses on the theme of marriage and family. Hammit told the Toledo Blade the lyrics were inspired by his personal life.
"There's an epidemic of broken homes today," Hammitt said. "I want to do whatever I can to strengthen families and help them raise kids that have positive role models in moms and dads. And it starts with me."
Hammit appeared on the CBN Newschannel's Midday program to talk about the new album. Click play to watch the interview.
