It was a monumental Memorial Day for a proud Massachusetts mother and her two sons.

"I have a son coming home from Iraq and a son getting married this weekend, so it's very emotional. A very special Memorial Day," said Donna Wardynski.

The Wardynski family has experienced a weekend full of laughter and tears. One of the sons, Private First Class Vincent Wardynski is on leave and will serve as the best man at his brother Steve's wedding.

Soon after the wedding, both brothers will be deployed. Steve will go to Afghanistan and Vincent will go back to Iraq.

"I never thought I'd have two boys serving their country over there. And I do. I am proud of both of them," Wardynski said.

"They're protecting our country and I feel that if they weren't there fighting then we couldn't be here doing what we're doing here right now," said the mens' grandmother Rosemarie Lavoe

The family says the homecoming and the wedding have made this a Memorial Day one they'll never forget.
