Each year, thousands of contestants line up to try out for talent competitions like American Idol. But the world of show business can be tough, and there's often a high cost to fame.

In the new film "Rising Stars," director Daniel Millican portrays the important message of how we should use the gifts and talents God gives us.  

The family musical follows the story of three artists competing for the national spotlight and the personal struggles they experience along the way.
