Christian recording artist Lincoln Brewster has just released a new album titled "Real Life."
The 39-year-old told The Press Tribune the new CD was the most transparent work he has ever produced.
"It's more introspective with more personal songs, which is different than anything I've done in the past," Brewster said.
The new project deals with some of the hardships he faced growing up in a beach shack in the small fishing town of Homer, Alaska.
"It's called 'Real Life' because that's what it felt like making the record," he explained. "I made it out my house; my family was around and it was based on real experiences."
Despite the hard knocks of his upbringing, Brewster says "God can make all things new."
Brewster shared more about his life and his new album on the Nov. 4 edition of the CBN News Channel's Midday News. Click play to watch the interview.
