A rural North Carolina couple is living large after selling their home to Apple Computer Inc.
Donnie and Kathy Fulbright turned down two previous offers from Apple to buy their one acre property. The company was looking to expand its data center.
On a third try, Apple told the couple to name their price, and they did -- $1.7 million for a property they originally bought for $6,000.
The Fullbrights used the money to build a 4,200 square foot home on 49 acres.
