Pop singer Miley Cyrus is drawing controversy from parents over her new music video "Who Owns My Heart."
In the sexually charged video, the 17-year-old is shown rolling around on a bed wearing lingerie. She's also seen dancing suggestively in a nightclub.
Many parents feel the new video pushes the limits of decency. Many also fear that tween fans who followed Cyrus's Disney alter ego "Hannah Montana" will try to emulate the young star.
"Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly," the Parents Television Council said in a statement.
What message is Miley Cyrus sending to her fans? Dan Isett, director of policy for the Parents Television Council, addressed that question and others on CBN News Channel Midday News, Oct. 12. Click play to watch the interview.
