The Christian music band Jars of Clay on Tuesday released a new collaborative album titled "Jars of Clay Presents The Shelter."
The new CD was inspired by the old Irish proverb, "It is in the shelter of each other that the people live."
Coincidentally, "The Shelter" was released as Nashville continues to recover from last May's historic floods.
"I'll say it was timely," guitarist Steve Mason told The Tennessean. "The flood really did embody everything we were discussing. It kind of brought home the idea that was encapsulated in a lot of the songs."
Jars of Clay keyboardist Charlie Lowell talked more about the group's new project on CBN Newschannel Midday News, Oct 6. Click play to watch.
