Dove-Award-winning vocalist Candy Christmas has released her first solo album in more than seven years titled "On the Other Side."
The Southern Gospel singer has also penned a book of the same name. In the 208-page autobiography, Christmas chronicles her life as a Christian vocalist, as well as her decision to found the Nashville, Tenn. homeless ministry "The Bridge Ministry."
"I left behind the safety of the plans that I had made and allowed the wind of the Holy Spirit to fill my sails," Christmas wrote of her decision to begin The Bridge.
"Little did I know that God was taking me on the journey of a lifetime," she continued. "I had no idea of the beautiful people I would come to know under a bridge who were waiting for me…'on the other side.'"
Christmas talked more about her new CD, book, and ministry on CBN Newschannel Midday News, Sept. 9. Click play to watch the interview.
