Parents across the nation headed to the office with their kids in tow, Thursday, for the annual "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day."
For about 200 children of White House staffers, the unique holiday gave them more than a pass out of school. The kids got to meet First Lady Michelle Obama and ask her questions about her "favorite things" and life at the White House.
"If you were to meet any famous person that has ever lived, who would it be?" one child asked.
"Well, I've already met some pretty cool famous people," Mrs. Obama answered. "I'm not sure if you think they were cool, because they were cool -- like Stevie Wonder, very cool."
"Paul McCartney, who was a Beatle... So cool," she continued. "Oprah Winfrey. Amazing cool. Just met Willow Smith. She was here at the Easter Egg Roll. Very cool."
Mrs. Obama also said her favorite color is lavender and she enjoys tennis.
When asked about Bo, the family dog, she replied, "Bo thinks he's a child," and always barges in if Malia or Sasha are sitting on her lap.
The first lady has held the special Q & A sessions every year since President Obama took office. She said it's one of her favorite events.
