The Pentagon is trying to figure out how the repeal of "don't ask don't tell" will affect military chaplains.
Undersecretary of Defense Clifford Stanley told Congress last week that chaplains will still be able to talk about their objections to homosexuality. But those objections will be limited to specific times and places.
Vice Adm. William Gortney said chaplains who "can't come to grips" with an openly gay troop's issues might have to let another chaplain provide counseling.
