Worship artist Laura Story has a new album coming out in April 12 called "Blessings."
As the title of Story's new CD suggests, her life has been filled with blessings.
According to the online Christian media source BreatheCast, she penned Chris Tomlin's number 1 worship hit "Indescribable" in 2004. The following year she married a handsome athlete named Martin Elvington.
She's also been nominated for female vocalist of the year at this year's Dove Awards. And the single from her new album, released in March, has already topped the Christian singles chart on iTunes.
Still, Story's life has not been without challenges. In 2006, her husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
"Life is filled with things you don't expect, but the Bible tells us to respond by trusting God and continuing to worship him," Story said.
Story talked more about her new CD and her faith on the CBN News Channel's Midday News, April 11.
