Nancy Stafford is best known for her role opposite Andy Griffith on "Matlock." She also starred in the nighttime drama "St. Elsewhere."

Most recently, Stafford appeared in the new movie "Christmas with a Capital C."

CBN News Reporter Wendy Griffith recently caught up with Stafford at her California home.

This time of year is special to Stafford. She has a Christmas tradition of decorating the tree with ornaments that her mom made.

"Every Christmas to me is just a surprise and wonder because every ornament is infused with love, and every ornament is unique because it was made by my mom," Stafford said.

From one beautiful ornament to the next, her life story comes alive.

There's an ornament for her childhood eye glasses, and another for the time she won Miss Florida.
