The U.S. Supreme Court announced on Tuesday it would not review a 6-year-old ruling that struck down the display of the Ten Commandments in two Kentucky courthouses.
Pulaski County and McCreary County officials had appealed recent lower court rulings barring them from posting the Bible verses after changing the displays to include multiple religious and government documents.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky claimed adding the other documents was an attempt to hide the true nature of the displays.
The high court offered no explanation as to why they declined the case.
