Sometimes life brings trials, but there's comfort in knowing that with God all things work together for good. That's the message of Christian recording artist Shawn McDonald's new single titled Closer.

Three years have passed since McDonald released his last CD titled Roots.  His new album Closer will mark the fifth album of his career.  It will be released in the coming months. 

McDonald said he hopes the songs - and his own mistakes and heartaches - can help others who are hurting by pointing them to the God who heals.
