The Houston National Cemetery hearing originally scheduled for this week has been moved to August 5.

The suit revolves around the freedom of speech and religious rights of veterans, their families, and volunteers at the cemetery.

Liberty Institute moved forward with legal action on behalf of the veterans against the Department of Veterans Affairs and cemetery director Arleen Ocasio.

The suit protests Ocasio's reported ban on mentioning God and Jesus during funerals and claims she also restricted the religious speech of volunteers.
